Zach, I just read your article last night and got the news this morning that my mom’s best friend’s son was found dead in his bed (20 something). Not sure the cause yet but suspicion is not good. I immediately went back to your article and pulled out the passages you referenced. What a stab-in-the-gut it is to deal with such anguish here on earth but then… What a gift to know that God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and the angels are all up in “our mess” (as Jack stated) and truly understand when no one else can. Jesus knew full well what He faced, and it was b/c of us and what we would face, that He still pushed forward. Thanks for this. (I’m your mama’s friend)

Zach, thanks brother… very beautiful. I’ve been praying on and off all day for these families, and many more that come to mind. Nice to end the day with the thought of Jesus entering into our mess and doing what we could never do. Thanks for the reminder!

i love to read your work wacky. what an incredible gift you have of finding comfort with a situation like this.you give people hope with the truth. God loves all of his people and understands even those darkest moments.
